The Ratch-It Locking Carabiner Keychain conveniently locks the reel in 5” intervals, making this a popular reel to secure machinery keys or small tools. Built in the USA with globally sourced materials, the Ratch-It has a strong molded black polycarbonate case and a retractable cord made with DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber. Attach your keys or small tools to the split ring and secure the carabiner to your belt clip, work belt or backpack. When you need your keys just pull them out and the reel will automatically lock. When you're done, give the reel a small tug and let it go, the built-in tether retracts back into place until you need your keys again again. SHIPPING POLICY
All orders ship out from our Ontario, CA facility within 3 business days from the time the order is placed, depending on the size of the order. Once your shipment has been created you will receive shipment tracking information to the email address used to place the order. Shipments go out Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Purchases under $50 shipping via USPS and UPS will be dependent upon chosen method, order, and location.
- Purchases $50 or more - Free Economy Shipping Available. Cost for UPS is calculated based on order and shipping location.
Economy Shipping - The carrier and transit time is at West Coast Corporation's discretion on all economy shipped orders.
30 DAY RETURN POLICY
We do not make changes to orders after they are placed. If you are not happy with your order for any reason, we will accept returns and provide a refund for up to 30 days from the date your order is delivered. Returns must be in their original condition and not been used or if they have been used, a manufacturers defect.
We do not refund the original shipping cost or provide return shipping due to buyer's remorse or incorrect products ordered. Shipping cost for any issue not being a result of a fulfillment error will be the responsibility of the customer.

In order to quickly process your return, please make sure to complete all fields. Once our team evaluates your claim, they will respond and provide you with an RMA#. Please allow 24 hours for a response.
Once you receive your RMA number which will expire in 30 days, package your product for shipping and inside include a copy of your receipt. On the outside of the package please label with the RMA number provided. Ship your return to KEY-BAK Attn: Returns 4245 Pacific Privado Ontario, CA 91761, USA.
A credit will be issued to your original form of payment within 3-5 business days after receipt of your return.
Your product is a precision device and if your purchase fails at any time within one year from date of purchase, with a proof of purchase and a photo of the product, we will replace your product with an equal model. If at any time after the 12-month warranty period ends and your product fails to perform, we offer a Lifetime Service Policy.

I like the ptoduct ok but it needs to be a bit stronger. It doesnt always retract after using. It wants to remain extended with my keychain hanging so I have to reengage it to close.

i like the product for the most part. but its massive, and after a week the mechanism is already not working great. sticking in spots and not spooling back properly. will be looking into other products for my needs.

I like this product. I used it to cheat my busy forgetfulness. I used it to tether my Leatherman multi-function tool. This forced me to ensure that I would not lose my tool after setting it down while busy with other things. Setting it down on the bumper of an RV is a sure way to lose it. After use I would put the tool in my pocket still tethered firmly on my belt and go about my day. The locking mechanism provides plenty of range for use without tension. The feature that would make this an undisputed excellent product is a reinforced opening for the cord. Through use and friction, the cord cut the PC casing. I didn't notice this until the cord became pinched in its own cut groove. I had tried to glue a small washer onto the opening to remove the friction on the casing, but the glue I used didn't work very long and the washer came off. I am now purchasing a full metal case and likely a metal cord but will have to deal with the constant tension on the cord.

Glad I bought both the carabiner and the clip on. Each comes in handy for different uses. The only thing missing for my uses for both products is to have a lock so the chain doesn't release to the 1st ratchet which it has a tendency to do. But I can't rate it less because I knew it did not have this feature when I bought it.

Like the product. I fish on Hobie Revo 13 kayak and practice CPR(catch, photo, release). The Key Bak Ratcheting carabiner is attached to my camera. The Key Bak gives me piece of mind that I will not camera will not be lost in the deep blue. The Key Bak operates very easy and smoothly. Would recommend the product.
